Dr. Beth E. Pester

I am Beth (Royuk) Pester. I was born in Knoxville, Tennessee in August of 1974.  I am the daughter of Lutheran school teachers, Ron and Elaine Royuk, and younger sister of Brent and Brad.

I attended First Lutheran School in Knoxville for K-8, Saint Paul Lutheran High School in Concordia, Missouri, Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska for my bachelors and masters degrees, and  Trident University in Cypress, California for my doctorate.

I married Harold Pester in 1998.  We have two children, Tara born in 2005 and Tim born in 2007.

I taught at Cedar Bluffs Public School, Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska; Concordia Lutheran High School, Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and Lincoln Lutheran Middle/Sr. High School, Lincoln, Nebraska, before starting my work at Concordia University, Nebraska.

My time at Concordia began with part-time teaching while my children were babies and progressed into the position of Director of Middle Level Education, and Director of Student Teaching before transition to my position as Director of Dual Credit in the Fall of 2022.
