In this section, share leadership roles from your nursing career. Indicate the nursing professional organizations you belong to along with documentation of membership and how long you have been a member. You are required to be a member of at least one nursing professional organization of your choice. Recommended organizations include but not limited to: ANA (American Nurses Association), NLN (National League for Nurses), NNA (Nebraska Nurse Association or your own state association), AACN (American Association of Critical-Care Nurses or your specialty field of nursing).
An additional requirement is being a participant or presenter at a nursing Conference within the last year (local, state, or national nursing conference). Include a reflection of how you benefited from this conference and some type of documentation of the conference such as a copy of an attendance certification or conference schedule or program. You may also send in documentation for leading in a medical mission trip in place of attending a nursing conference or guest lecturer.
