Update:
Dec 10, 2015- The York News Times blog spot for this has been disabled. So, I have started to create a digital story books of the haiku project entitled “Confessions of a Cereal Killer” …enjoy.
So, it all started one morning with a simple, meaningless text to, who could quite possibly be one of the greatest men I know, Dan Stahly. The content of the text you ask…a haiku – a simple, somewhat inappropriate, seemingly inconsequential haiku. What resulted from that early morning conversation quickly turned into a challenge between friends, “I want you to write a haiku a day for an entire year.” Challenge accepted my friend, challenge accepted.
Another friend of mine who shares a draw to the slightly ostentacious, Eric Eckert, took hold of this ridiculousness and turned the haiku project into a blogspot on the York News Times website. Should you choose to venture into the mind of #mymorninghaiku here is your opportunity: access “A Wolf’s Howl: wisdom of the wolf“. Achtung!
