Chalk&Wire Portfolio Explanation

At Concordia University, Nebraska (CUNE), in many undergraduate and in all graduate degree programs, students are required to develop an online portfolio using Chalk&Wire documenting their learning and professional growth throughout their program of study.

Each program has been designed so students will develop at least one authentic artifact, and complete other program requirements in each course, which will be included in the Chalk&Wire portfolio. In each course, the designated artifacts and any other program requirements will be identified in the Course Guide, and clearly labeled in the associated weekly assignment or discussion links subject line.

Upon entering the program, students will be given information regarding how to obtain a Chalk & Wire subscription code, directions to register their account, and tutorials for navigating Chalk & Wire. Students should register and review the tutorials within the first two weeks of their first course in the program.

Registration instructions and other Chalk & Wire information can be found via the “Portfolio” link in your course navigation. In order for you to be able to submit to Chalk & Wire via Blackboard, you must register using your CUNE email address.

You only need to register for Chalk & Wire one time. If you have already done so, you do not need to register again; however, make sure you registered with your CUNE email address.

Answers to common questions can be found on the FAQs page.
