You may have noticed that some areas of Blackboard look a little different. We recently upgraded, and with this upgrade came some new features. Three of these new features that you may want to note are the calendar, discussions, and inline grading.
Calendar
You may fondly remember those days when you could create assignments in Blackboard and they would automatically populate the calendar. Well, that feature is back! Click here to check out the other calendar upgrades.
Discussions
Discussions now just, well, look nifty. The main reason for this is that you can view student avatars next to their posts. The other reason is you can view all of the posts on one page. Click here to learn more.
Inline Grading
And now for the best upgrade of all… inline grading. Many instructors download assignments, use track changes in Microsoft Office to edit and add comments, and then upload the assignment back to Blackboard. Well, if you are one of those instructors, inline grading will save you a lot of time! Documents can be opened in Blackboard and the instructor can make annotations right there in Blackboard. Nice, huh? Click here to see inline grading in action.
