About

Purpose of this blog

This blog is meant as a continued resource for CUNE students, faculty, and staff. The library has many resources and systems that can get cumbersome to navigate. This blog provides a personal touchpoint for anyone who could use it, to highlight resources, books, databases, or other points of interest. As a librarian, I work to serve the school community at large, so providing a personal touch, as well as a method for others to contact with subjects they'd be interested in, all fit under the mission of this site.

About Me

My name is Billy Moore. I'm currently the Reference and Instruction librarian at Concordia University, Nebraska. As such, my job focuses on making the lives of faculty, staff, and students better. I create, curate, and manage resources and materials that help make teaching and learning easier. I'm constantly looking for, finding, and discovering new ways to teach in-classroom or online and finding ways to do it better.

I have a Masters in Library and Information Science from Emporia State University in Emporia, KS.

I am currently working on a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University, Nebraska.

I love learning and am currently teaching myself programming with Javascript and Python and dabbling in app creation, as well as micro-computing using the Raspberry Pi SBC platform.
