The due date for your paper on behavior and classroom management strategies has been moved to Tuesday, October 25.
In addition, read chapter 13 in the Campbell text (Page 340) and be ready to discuss the following:
- The differences/similarities between assessment, evaluation, testing, and measurement
- Formative and Summative Evaluation
- Covert and Overt Behaviors
- Effective Questioning
- Rubrics
- Student Self-Assessment
- Peer Assessment
- Teacher Self-Assessment
- Record Keeping
Be able to answer the following questions:
- What does authentic assessment mean? Why is it important?
- What are higher-order questions and why might it be difficult to ask these type of questions?
Note: Assignment 16 on writing specific behavioral objectives will be due on Thursday, October 27.
